Sponge rubber belts (also called fottwiping belts) are conveyor belts with a coating made of sponge rubber material. Because of the abrasive strength and the good absorption capacity footwiping belts are mainly used to remove the glaze from the feet of ceramic ware (tableware, sanitaryware…) before firing.
