PERFORATION AND PROFILES
We can apply perforation and profiles on belts according to your schema/requirements, in order to prevent the shift of products conveyed, to allow air flowing (suction) for cooling processes, or to allow the evacuation of powder / granules which has been created during processings.
Conveyor belts equipped with profiles are used for the inclined conveying of bulk goods and small items. Profiles are available in various shapes and sizes, and in some cases can be supplied as roll material. Sidewall profiles are used – often in conjunction with lateral profiles – to contain bulk goods on the sides of the belt.

SPLICING METHODS
The splicing method appropriate for individual applications depends on the belt types used and the operating conditions. In addition to splice reliability, flexibility of the splice and the effort required for fabrication are decisive criteria for the selection of the splicing method.

BELT EDGE SEALING
Belt edge sealing prevents oil, grease, water, foreign bodies and bacteria from penetrating the belt. At the same time, it increases the service life of the conveyor belt.
SMART-SEAL (PRO SEAL): innovative Smartseal belt-edge sealing: patented process by Forbo Siegling ensures enhanced hygiene and safety in food production. This innovative process prevents oil, grease, moisture and bacteria from penetrating the conveyor belt from the sides, or pieces of fluff from the tension member protruding and getting into the food conveyed. Sealing can be carried out without preparing the belt edge and even thin single-ply belts can be sealed. HOT-SEAL: Reactive hot adhesive is applied to and shaped on the belt edge. Edge is flat, therefore it results high suitable in case of employment for long belts or in case it operates over knife edges.

FRAY FREE BELTS
Frayfree is the new belt design that keeps fraying belt edges to a minimum. The stability of the fabric on the belt edge is influenced significantly by many factors. In the Frayfree belt types, the combination of various steps substantially reduces the tendency of the belt to fray. A special type of fabric, a special weave and an enhanced filament length improve the grip of the filaments in the fabric composite. Advanced production technology also ensures reliable bonding of the individual fabric filaments to the coating material. Frayfree belt types are particularly suitable for conveying packaged and unpackaged food, e.g. confectionery and baked goods.
